How Apartment Chore App handles household, sign-in, and notification data.

This starter privacy policy explains what data the app processes to run the shared household chores workflow and how users can contact the operator.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, the app may receive basic account details such as your name, email address, and profile image. The app also stores apartment membership records, invite status, chore assignments, completion logs, issue reports, ratings, reviews, and related timestamps so the household can coordinate work.

If browser notifications are enabled, the app stores notification preferences and push subscription data needed to deliver those notifications. Technical request data, error information, and basic operational logs may also be processed to keep the service stable and secure.

How we use information

We use this information to authenticate users, attach them to the correct apartment, assign and rotate chores, show household activity, deliver notifications, and maintain a reliable record of what happened in the home.

We may also use operational data to troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, improve the service, and communicate about important account or product changes.

Sharing and visibility

Apartment data is visible to members of the same household according to the app's role and approval model. Owners may see additional access and administration information needed to manage invites, approvals, and chore setup.

We may share information with infrastructure, authentication, database, analytics, or notification service providers that help operate the app, or when required to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect users and the service.

Retention and choices

Account, apartment, and chore records may be retained for as long as they are needed to operate the shared household history, resolve disputes, maintain security, or satisfy legal obligations. Notification subscriptions can be removed when users disable notifications or stop using the device.
